Anyone who spends summers in the Hamptons knows the line at BuddhaBerry. This fall the frozen yogurt shop that has been a Sag Harbor fixture for more than a decade is coming south. BuddhaBerry is opening its third store, and its first in Florida, at 417 South Rosemary Avenue in CityPlace, West Palm Beach.
A Hamptons habit, now in West Palm
BuddhaBerry has been on Main Street in Sag Harbor for more than ten years, with a second shop in Southampton. It is the kind of place families build a summer routine around: froyo after the beach, a smoothie on the walk through the village, a birthday party in the back. For the many Palm Beach County residents who split the year between here and the South Fork, the West Palm store means the routine does not have to end on Labor Day.
The CityPlace address puts it on Rosemary Avenue in the middle of the district's restaurants, shops and fountain, an easy stop before or after a movie or dinner.
What to order
Frozen yogurt and sorbet are the base, with a rotating flavor board. In Sag Harbor that board runs from Natural Tart and Madagascar Vanilla to Caramel Sea Salt Pretzel, Cold Brew, Valencia Orange, Triple Belgian Chocolate and a Triple Cookie Smash Up, with toppings to match. Expect the West Palm list to be posted once the store opens.
The real cult following, though, is for the blended drinks, and the West Palm menu already lists them:
- The BuddhaBerry: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries blended with fresh pineapple and the shop's icy tart frozen yogurt
- The BananaBerry: the same berries plus banana, with pineapple juice and organic vanilla frozen yogurt
- Strawberry Mango: vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries, mango, pineapple juice and mango nectar
- The Cookie Monster: the cookie smash-up yogurt blended with two Oreos and milk, topped with whipped cream and chocolate
- Buddha's Famous Chocolate Peanut Butter: chocolate and peanut butter yogurt with organic peanut butter and chopped peanut butter cups
- Buddha's Vegan Matcha Milkshake: imported matcha with organic coconut milk frozen yogurt and almond milk
- ChocoLoco: a vegan dark chocolate sorbet blend with dairy-free chocolate sauce, almond milk and cacao nibs
There is also a frozen lemonade with fresh mint, and the menu categories include coffee and tea, bubble tea and food. Plenty of the list is dairy free, which makes this an easy stop for a group with mixed diets.
More than a froyo counter
The Hamptons shops carry a retail corner of toys and gifts, which BuddhaBerry pitches at kids and at adults who still want to feel like kids, and they host in-store birthday parties and events. The company also does catering. If the West Palm store follows the same model, it will be a handy place for a party at CityPlace, and the shop already takes event inquiries through its website.
When it opens
BuddhaBerry has not announced an exact opening day, and birthday party availability at its shops depends on the season, so families planning a winter party should ask early. The company lists the West Palm Beach store as opening in fall 2026, and its location page will post hours once they are set.
- BuddhaBerry West Palm Beach, CityPlace, 417 S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401
- Opening: fall 2026
- Menu and updates: buddhaberry.com/locations/west-palm-beach
- Gift cards: sold online and good at every BuddhaBerry location
Until then, if you are heading north for a long weekend on the East End, the original is still at 125 Main Street in Sag Harbor. Down here, keep an eye on Rosemary Avenue.
