Jupiter's week of Oct. 19 to 25 runs from a sunset climb up the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse on Wednesday to a Halloween morning on the nature trails at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday, with a jazz concert at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, a teen night at the Jupiter Community Center and the Sunday market at Harbourside Place in between.

Wednesday and Saturday: Two Climbs at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum holds a Sunset Tour on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The tour climbs the 105 steps of the historic tower and pairs the view from the top with the history of the light. Tickets are $25 per person and $20 for Lighthouse members, sold only through the museum's own website, and they are not refundable. Climbers under 48 inches tall cannot go up, and children who meet the height rule must be with an adult. The tour runs about an hour, and rain moves it to another date.

Early risers get a second chance on Saturday, Oct. 24, when the museum hosts a Sunrise Tour from 6:45 to 8 a.m., timed so the sun comes up over the Atlantic while the group is at the top. Registration is through the event listing on the Lighthouse calendar. The museum sits at 500 Captain Armour's Way, and regular hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday: Lunch and a Classic Film for Jupiter's 50+ Crowd

The Town of Jupiter's 50+ Lunch and the Classics returns on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at noon at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail. Lunch is part of the ticket, followed by a classic movie. The town does not post the title because of film rights, so the Community Center (561-741-2400) shares it by phone a couple of days ahead. The cost is $5 for Jupiter residents and $7 for nonresidents, and pre-registration is required through the town's WebTrac recreation portal.

Friday: Mikayla Smith and The King's Academy Jazz Band at the Maltz

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's A Night on the Island series brings vocalist Mikayla Smith back to The Island Theatre on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. Her two earlier shows at the theatre sold out, according to the Maltz. Love, Dreams, and Me draws on jazz and the Great American Songbook, and she shares the stage with The King's Academy Jazz Band. The Island Theatre is inside the Maltz at 1001 E. Indiantown Road. Tickets are sold through the theatre's online box office or by phone at 561-575-2223.

The same building opens its 2026/27 MainStage season a few days later. Lyle Kessler's Orphans, the story of two brothers in a Philadelphia rowhouse whose kidnapping plan turns into something closer to a family, runs Oct. 27 to Nov. 8. The theatre notes adult language and depictions of racial prejudice in the play.

Saturday: Teen Night at the Jupiter Community Center

Middle schoolers and young teens have their own evening on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Jupiter Community Center. The Town of Jupiter's Teen Night is for ages 12 to 15 and includes dinner, a food craft or group activity, and a sweet treat. The cost is $20 for Jupiter residents and $25 for nonresidents, with sign-up through WebTrac on the town's Teen Night page.

Sunday: Trick-or-Treating With the Wildlife in Jupiter Farms

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary hosts Feathers, Fangs, Fur, & FUN! on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its campus at 17855 Rocky Pines Road in Jupiter Farms. Kids can trick-or-treat along the nature trails while supplies last, and the day is built around a repeating schedule: Spooky Tales Storytime in the educational amphitheater at 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., a Costume Parade in the picnic and playground area at 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., and a Creepy Conservation Conversation in the amphitheater at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The sanctuary rehabilitates injured wildlife for release in its Jupiter Farms campus. General admission is by donation, paid by card at the Welcome Center or in cash at donation boxes around the grounds. The sanctuary expects a large turnout and advises extra time for parking and entry. Questions go to 561-575-3399.

Sunday: The Market at Harbourside Place

On the Intracoastal side of town, The Market at Harbourside Place sets up every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 200 N. U.S. Highway One. The curated market gathers local makers and artisans selling handmade goods, specialty foods, art, apparel, wellness products and home goods along the waterfront. Breathe Salt Yoga leads a morning class in front of the amphitheater at 9:30 a.m. beforehand, so the two can be paired into one Sunday outing.
