Broadway season in West Palm Beach starts with a lift. Dirty Dancing: The Musical opens the Kravis Center's 2026-2027 Kravis On Broadway season on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with eight performances through Sunday, Nov. 1. It kicks off a season in which four shows, including Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen and the comedy hit Oh, Mary!, play West Palm Beach for the first time.
The opener
The stage version of the Lionsgate film tells the story readers already know: Baby, Johnny, a summer at a resort and a lift that everyone in the audience is waiting for. The music from the movie is performed live. The Kravis recommends it for ages 12 and up.
All performances are in the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall at 701 Okeechobee Blvd.:
- Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Yes, there is a Halloween night show. Groups of 10 or more can book group pricing.
The rest of the season
The eight-show Kravis On Broadway series runs into May:
- Dirty Dancing: The Musical, Oct. 28 to Nov. 1
- Monty Python's Spamalot, Nov. 10 to 15
- Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, Dec. 22 to 27
- The Great Gatsby, Jan. 6 to 10, 2027
- The Sound of Music, Feb. 16 to 21, 2027
- BOOP! The Musical, April 6 to 11, 2027
- Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen, April 20 to 25, 2027
- Oh, Mary!, May 11 to 16, 2027
Four of those are new to the city. The Kravis says The Great Gatsby, BOOP!, Hell's Kitchen and Oh, Mary! are all making their West Palm Beach premieres. That is the real news of the season: Broadway's recent hits arriving here on tour, not years later.
Outside the subscription, the Kravis is also bringing The Bodyguard (Nov. 27 to 29), SIX (March 9 to 14, 2027), Kinky Boots (April 13, 2027) and Jersey Boys (June 1 to 6, 2027).
Plan the holidays around it. Spamalot arrives less than two weeks after Dirty Dancing closes, The Bodyguard fills the weekend after Thanksgiving, and The Grinch runs the week of Christmas, which makes it the easy pick for visiting grandkids. If you are buying shows as gifts, those three dates are the ones to look at first.
Beyond Broadway this fall
The wider season, which the Kravis has branded For the Love of Live, fills the calendar between musicals. Comedy includes Nurse John's Against Medical Advice Tour on Oct. 10 and Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue on Oct. 25. Dance brings Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater on Nov. 7 and 8 and MOMIX's Botanica on Nov. 18. On the classical side, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe plays Dec. 7, ahead of the Cleveland Orchestra on Jan. 24.
How to get seats
Subscriptions are the cheapest route to the full Broadway run. Eight-show packages range from $364 to $1,050 depending on seats, and seven-show packages that skip Oh, Mary! run $328 to $936. Subscribers keep their seats from year to year, exchange for free and get priority when buying tickets to other shows.
For everything else, mark Friday, Oct. 9: the Kravis said single tickets for its 2026-2027 season go on sale to the public that morning at 10 a.m. at kravis.org, by phone at 561-832-7469, or in person at the box office.
If you only see one show this fall, make it Dirty Dancing on a weeknight, when seats are easier to find. If you want bragging rights, it is Hell's Kitchen in April. Either way, the Kravis season is about to open, and this year it comes with four shows West Palm has never had.
