Two buildings on Lake Avenue carry Lake Worth Beach's week. At the Lake Worth Playhouse, the Stonzek Studio Theater has four screenings of Primetime, Lance Oppenheim's new film about Chris Hansen, for $9, and the main stage hosts a one-night comedy show about getting older, with a Sinatra singer on the bill. Down the street, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County has a free show of work by members of the Ceramic League of The Palm Beaches in the 1940 building that opened as the Lake Theatre. Here is what is on from Oct. 20 to 27.

Primetime at the Stonzek, from $9

The Playhouse's film series brings Primetime to the Stonzek Studio Theater this weekend. The 2026 film is directed by Lance Oppenheim and follows Chris Hansen, the host of To Catch a Predator, as he sets out in 2006 to make television history. Robert Pattinson plays Hansen. The film is rated R and runs 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Showtimes are Friday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3 and 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. The Sunday screening is followed by a discussion. General admission is $9, plus a $2 processing fee per order.

The series continues next month with a Nov. 7 program and Menashe over Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 27 to 29.

Saturday night: Peter J. Fogel and the Sinatra songbook

Comedian Peter J. Fogel brings his one-man show Still Rockin'... As Long as I'm in Bed by 9 PM! to the Playhouse's Stephanie Smith Main Stage on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. The show is stand-up about aging, and Fogel shares the bill with special guest vocalist Tony Quaranti, who sings from the Frank Sinatra songbook. It runs about 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.

Tickets are $45, which the Playhouse lists as the New Boomer Special, plus a $5 processing fee per order. The show is part of the Playhouse's limited engagement series and is presented by an outside producer that has leased the theater for the night.

Molded & Mannered at the Cultural Council, free

The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County opened Molded & Mannered on Oct. 16 in its Donald M. Ephraim Family Foundation Gallery. The exhibition features ceramic work by artists from the Ceramic League of The Palm Beaches and runs through Dec. 12.

The Council's headquarters, the Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. Building in downtown Lake Worth Beach, first opened in 1940 as the Lake Theatre. Admission to its galleries is always free, and the building is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
