Matchbox Twenty has booked a Wednesday night in Hollywood. The band plays Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on June 30, 2027, at 7:30 p.m., and tickets go on sale this Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., starting at $65.

Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood announced the date on Oct. 15. The show is a little more than eight months away, but tickets are released this week, 31 years after the band's debut album came out.

How to get tickets

There are two windows. A venue presale opens Thursday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m., reached through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood's Facebook, X and Instagram accounts. General sale follows on Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. Both sell through myHRL.com.

Tickets start at $65, and the venue notes that additional fees may apply. Doors open one hour before the 7:30 p.m. show, at 6:30.

The band

The lineup on this date is Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook. The band's 1996 debut, Yourself or Someone Like You, is certified diamond and 12 times platinum, according to the venue, and it carried the singles 3AM, Push, Real World, Back 2 Good and Long Day.

Later releases added Bent, If You're Gone, Unwell, How Far We've Come and She's So Mean. The venue puts the band's sales at more than 40 million records worldwide, with multiple Grammy nominations.

The room

Hard Rock Live holds about 7,000 people indoors in clamshell-style seating, built as part of an investment of more than $125 million. It was named Casino/Resort Venue of the Year at the 2025 Pollstar Awards, and its past bookings include The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Billy Joel and Shakira, according to Seminole Hard Rock.

The venue sits inside the resort that the Seminole Tribe of Florida owns on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation along State Road 7 (U.S. 441), home of the Guitar Hotel that opened with the resort's $1.5 billion expansion in 2019.

Also on sale at Hard Rock Live

Matchbox Twenty is one of several dates the resort announced in mid-October. Larry the Cable Guy plays Hard Rock Live on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2027, at 8 p.m., with tickets from $60 that went on sale Oct. 16.
