Florida City Week starts Monday, and Palm Beach Gardens is marking it with a week of free events at City Hall, the Burns Road Community Center and Gardens North County District Park. Here is what is on, Oct. 19 through 25, with the times, places and what you need to know for each, all from the city's Florida City Week announcement.
Monday, Oct. 19: the resident photography finalists
The city's 2026 Resident Photography Contest has its finalists, and they go on view at a GardensArt artist reception at 6 p.m. Monday in the City Hall lobby, 10500 N. Military Trail. The photographs are by people who live in the city. Admission is free, and the city is providing complimentary drinks.
Wednesday, Oct. 21: a drink with the mayor
Mayor Dana Middleton hosts Toasts and Topics at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Burns Road Community Center, 4404 Burns Road. The format is informal: residents meet the mayor and talk about what is happening in the city, and the city again covers the drinks. It is free.
Saturday, Oct. 24: the Fall Festival
The city calls the Fall Festival its biggest event of the month. It runs 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court North, per the Fall Festival event page. (The city's week announcement lists the festival as Saturday, Oct. 25; Saturday is the 24th this year, which is the date on the festival's own page.)
- Trick-or-Treat Street: come in costume and bring a treat bag.
- Dance party with DJ Rey.
- Kids' rides: a fun slide, carnival games, inflatables and bounce houses, plus a Tot Zone for the youngest.
- Hands-only CPR: Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue runs a tent teaching the skill.
- Food trucks: That's My Dog, Piez Wood Fire Pizza, Taco Wey Boca, Gimme Grillin, Awesome Empanadas, Shakey's Jerk, OMG That's Good, Catchin' Fish & Chips, Carnahan Concession and Auntie Anne's.
The festival is sponsored by Alan B. Miller Medical Center. The city asks that pets stay home.
All week, through Sunday, Oct. 25: last call for the art hunt
The city's Art in Public Places Scavenger Hunt, running since Oct. 1, closes Sunday. Each clue is a zoomed-in photo and a short poem pointing to one of the city's public artworks, posted on the city's Facebook, Instagram and X accounts (@CityofPBG) and on the hunt's page. Find the piece in person, scan the QR code on its You Found Me sign, and fill out the form by Sunday, Oct. 25. Every piece found earns a prize, which you can pick up at a city Florida City Week event or have mailed.
