The U.S. Men's National Team will play Haiti in Miami next month. The first leg of the teams' 2026-27 Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal, originally set for Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, will be played at Nu Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 14, with kickoff at 4:30 p.m.

U.S. Soccer and Concacaf announced the move on Thursday, Oct. 22. Haiti remains the designated home team for the match.

Why the match moved

Under Concacaf's regulations, Haiti's home matches played away from Haiti had to stay within the Caribbean region, which is why the original venue was Kingston. Citing the security situation in Haiti, the Haitian Football Federation asked Concacaf to let it host its matches in the territory of its opponent instead.

The Concacaf Council approved what it called an exceptional hosting arrangement. It applies to Haiti's national teams and to Haitian clubs in Concacaf competitions, and it stays in place for as long as the situation in Haiti continues. Every match still needs separate approval from the Concacaf Administration, the agreement of the opposing federation, and a host stadium that meets Concacaf's guidelines. The first match approved under it is this one, which moves Haiti's home leg into the United States and to Miami.

The venue

Nu Stadium is the 26,700-seat home of Inter Miami CF, the centerpiece of Miami Freedom Park. Beyond Inter Miami's matches, the stadium was designed to host concerts, international sporting events and cultural programming through the year. The Nov. 14 match brings the U.S. national team to the stadium for a competitive fixture with a place in the Nations League semifinals at stake.

The rest of the series

The quarterfinal is played over two legs. The second leg is unchanged: the U.S. hosts Haiti at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The other three quarterfinals open the same week. Curaçao hosts Panama in Willemstad on Thursday, Nov. 12. Guatemala hosts Canada in Guatemala City on Friday, Nov. 13. Jamaica hosts Mexico at the National Stadium in Kingston on Saturday, Nov. 14, a few hours after the match in Miami. The return legs follow from Nov. 15 to 17.

The match in Miami is one of two national team dates on the Gold Coast before the end of the year. U.S. Soccer has already announced that the men's team closes its 2026 schedule against Jamaica in Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 13.
