The U.S. Men's National Team will finish its 2026 schedule in Fort Lauderdale. U.S. Soccer announced on Tuesday, Oct. 20, that the team will play Jamaica on Sunday, Dec. 13, at Inter Miami CF Stadium, with kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. It will be the first time the two national teams have ever met in Florida.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. through ussoccer.com, after a run of presales that starts Wednesday morning. A small number of Platinum seats went on sale today at 11 a.m.

A December camp with a Broward finale

The match closes out the first stretch of a new cycle for the team under head coach Mauricio Pochettino. The Americans won all four of their matches this fall, two of them against Concacaf opponents, and nine players from Major League Soccer made their international debuts along the way.

December's game takes the place of the January camp the federation has traditionally held, a gathering built around players whose club seasons are in MLS. Those winter camps have a track record. U.S. Soccer counts seven players from its 2026 FIFA World Cup roster who earned their first or second cap in a January camp match, among them current captain Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, Cristian Roldan, Tim Ream and goalkeeper Matt Turner. Earlier alumni include Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey, DaMarcus Beasley, Carlos Bocanegra and Jozy Altidore, all of whom went on to reach 100 caps.

So the roster that takes the field in Fort Lauderdale is likely to include names fans have not seen in a national team shirt before, and players competing for a place ahead of a busy 2027. Next year could bring three official competitions for the team: the Concacaf Nations League Finals, the Concacaf Gold Cup and the start of qualifying for the 2030 World Cup.

The seventh U.S. visit to Fort Lauderdale

This will be the men's team's seventh match in Fort Lauderdale, and the Americans have never lost in the city. Their record here stands at five wins and one draw. Four of those matches were played at Lockhart Stadium, and the city's national team history goes back to 1980, when the U.S. hosted Canada and then Mexico in World Cup qualifiers, drawing the first and winning the second.

The team has played twice at Inter Miami CF Stadium so far and won both times: 6-0 over El Salvador in December 2020 and 3-1 over Venezuela in January 2025.

There is a local thread on the Jamaica side as well. Ian Fray, an Inter Miami CF homegrown defender, has played four times for Jamaica since his debut against Curaçao in October 2025, which means he could line up against the U.S. at a stadium he knows from his club career.

A long series with the Reggae Boyz

The game will be the 36th meeting between the two countries. The series started in 1988 with a 1-1 draw in Kingston, and the U.S. leads it with 22 wins, three losses and 10 draws. In matches outside official competition, the U.S. record is seven wins, one loss and two draws.

The last time the teams met was Nov. 18, 2024, in St. Louis, where the U.S. won 4-2 to finish a two-leg sweep in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals. That night was also Pochettino's first home match, and first home win, in official competition.

How to watch from home

For anyone who does not get a seat, the match will air on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. Westwood One Sports carries the English radio call and Fútbol de Primera the Spanish one.
