Wellington's week of Oct. 19 to 25, 2026 runs from a free Thursday evening with Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies at the Wellington Amphitheater to a free Saturday tribute to Phil Collins and Genesis on the same lawn, with the last of the fall horse shows on the grass derby field at Equestrian Village in between. Here is what is happening, where and what it costs.

Thursday: National Night Out at the Amphitheater

The Village of Wellington hosts National Night Out with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard. The evening is built around meeting the deputies and first responders who serve the village, with bounce houses, an obstacle course and other activities for kids. Admission is free. The event takes the Thursday slot that normally belongs to the Thursday Nights in Wellington concert series, which picks back up on Oct. 29 with Ticket to the Moon, a tribute to Electric Light Orchestra.

Thursday to Sunday: Fall Circuit III at Equestrian Village

Wellington International's Annual Series runs Fall Circuit III from Oct. 22 to 25 at Equestrian Village, 13500 South Shore Boulevard. It is the closing week of competition on the grass derby field at Equestrian Village for the fall, and the venue's own announcements frame it as a chance to be the last winner of a derby field grand prix or hunter derby there before the shows move. From Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, the Fall Circuit Finale shifts competition back to the main Wellington International showgrounds at 3400 Equestrian Club Drive, home of the Winter Equestrian Festival, and the Holiday Series follows there through Jan. 3, 2027.

Equestrian Village is open to the public Friday through Sunday, and Wellington International lists daily admission and parking as free. Its visitor rules ask guests to leash pets and leave outside food, coolers, drones and balloons at home. The venue accepts cards only, so bring a credit card for any purchases.

Saturday: Turn It On Again at the Amphitheater

The Weekend Concert Series continues Saturday, Oct. 24, with Turn It On Again, a tribute band covering the catalogs of Phil Collins and Genesis, from the ballads to the arena rock. Food trucks open at 6 p.m. and serve until 9:30 p.m., and the band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. The show is free at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard. Bring a chair or blanket for the lawn, and check the village's Parks and Recreation social accounts (@wellingtonflrec) for the food truck lineup before you go.

All week: Drop Off for the Holiday Food Drive

Wellington's 2026 Holiday Food Drive is collecting non-perishable food through Friday, Nov. 13, with the goal that no village resident goes without a hot Thanksgiving meal. The list of needed items reads like a holiday table: boxed mashed potatoes, boxed or packaged stuffing, canned green beans, peas, corn and sweet potatoes, cornbread mix, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy. Check expiration dates and give only unopened items.

Drop-off spots are Village Hall (12300 Forest Hill Boulevard), Village Park (11700 Pierson Road), the Wellington Community Center (12150 Forest Hill Boulevard) and the Wellington Tennis Center (3100 Lyons Road), plus Thursday Nights in Wellington shows at the Amphitheater. The companion Holiday Toy Drive takes new, unwrapped toys through Friday, Dec. 11. Residents who need help with a holiday meal can call 561-753-2484.

Looking Ahead: The 50th Winter Equestrian Festival

The fall shows are the run-up to a milestone season. The Winter Equestrian Festival, first held in 1977, returns to Wellington International for its 50th anniversary, opening with Premiere Week on Jan. 6, 2027. The 2027 season adds Wellington International's new Derby Field at Wellington International South, which will include a golf cart tailgating area, and Week 8 is set to bring North America's first CHIO competition to Wellington. General admission is free during the day, Wednesday through Sunday. Premium hospitality tickets are expected to go on sale in late fall.
