Coral Springs marks Veterans Day with two free city events in one week: a Patriotic Community Concert on the City Hall lawn on Friday, November 6, and the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Park on Wednesday, November 11.

A Concert on the City Hall Lawn

The concert runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, on the lawn at Coral Springs City Hall, 9500 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33065. The city describes it as an evening honoring veterans and their families with music and recognition. The headline performance is Home Grown, a tribute band covering the music of the Zac Brown Band.

Veterans and their families have a designated VIP area with free refreshments and commemorative lanyards. The evening also includes an Honor Walk recognizing local veterans. The concert follows a 2025 edition, and the city has linked photos from last year's event on the concert page, along with a short recap video. Xfinity is listed as the sponsor.

Four food trucks are scheduled: Heavenly Churros, Cecilie's Ices, Dank Frank's Hot Dogs and Fat Boyz BBQ. Admission is free, and so is parking in the City Hall garage. The city encourages guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets and reusable water bottles, and a refill station will be on site. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Anyone who needs an accommodation should contact the city's special events office at 954-344-1111 or [email protected] at least five days before the concert.

The Ceremony at Veterans Park

On Veterans Day itself, the City of Coral Springs and the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs hold their ceremony at Veterans Park, 8601 Royal Palm Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33065. Seating opens at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, and the program begins at 10:45 a.m.

The featured speaker is retired Rear Admiral Peter J. Brown, who served 40 years in the U.S. Coast Guard before retiring. The ceremony is free.

If it rains, the ceremony moves indoors to the Coral Springs Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33065. Questions about the ceremony go to Coral Springs Parks and Recreation at 954-345-2200.
