Faena Art, the nonprofit arts organization based at Faena Miami Beach, has announced three new site-specific works for Miami Art Week 2026, on view at Faena Miami Beach from Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Sunday, Dec. 6. The largest of them is a monumental disco ball set on Faena Beach.

A Lore Supreme, by Christopher Joshua Benton

Christopher Joshua Benton's A Lore Supreme is a site-specific disco ball stretching across Faena Beach. Faena Art describes it as a map of the cultural exchange between Miami's communities, told through music, and says the piece turns the beach into an open-air dance floor where visitors can move, dance and mark the city's rhythms.

An Expanded Baroque Crown, by Marinella Senatore

The second commission is An Expanded Baroque Crown by Marinella Senatore, which Faena Art describes as a luminous sculptural architecture meant for visitors to share space and experiences inside and around it.

The Magic Is You, by Kevin Arrow

The third work moves indoors. Kevin Arrow's The Magic Is You is a site-specific installation at Casa Faena built from photographic archives of the city of Miami and its visual culture. It is presented in partnership with No Vacancy, a program commissioned by the City of Miami Beach in collaboration with the Miami Beach Convention and Visitors Authority.

Who is behind it

Faena Art is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that commissions, produces and houses cross-disciplinary art, with a focus on immersive and site-specific work. Its stated mission is to bridge popular and experimental art and make it accessible to everyone, and its Art Week program is one of the ways it does that each December, alongside a fundraising gala, a project room and digital art programs listed on its site.

Six days only

All three works are on view for six days, opening Tuesday, Dec. 1, and closing Sunday, Dec. 6. A Lore Supreme is outdoors on the beach, An Expanded Baroque Crown is a sculptural structure built for visitors to share and The Magic Is You is indoors at Casa Faena, so the three can be seen in one visit to Faena Miami Beach.
