Luminosa, the walk-through light festival at Jungle Island, comes back on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and this year it is about Miami itself. The producers have built the 2026 edition around a theme they call Miami, reimagined in lights, with walk-through areas modeled on the city's own neighborhoods, including Little Havana, the Art District and South Beach.
A map of the city, in lamps
The organizers describe this edition as a return with a Miami focus: the color, culture and energy of Miami are the inspiration, and each zone takes its cue from a part of the city a local can name. The organizers describe larger lamp installations than the festival has used before, lit by more than 43,600 LEDs.
The walk itself takes about an hour to an hour and a half, according to the organizers, and their FAQ notes that many visitors stay closer to two hours.
Where it is
The festival runs at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail on Watson Island, off the MacArthur Causeway between downtown Miami and South Beach.
Self-parking is next to the venue and costs $20 per car.
Who is behind it
Luminosa is produced in partnership with Lektrik, with Fever as media partner. Tickets are sold through the festival's own ticket site, which lists the ticket types, the available dates and the entry times.
