The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is bringing back its signature fundraiser. Rendezvous at the Light returns on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. on the waterfront grounds at 500 Captain Armour's Way, with tastings from local restaurants, wine and craft beer, live music and a silent auction held under the 1860 lighthouse.

A taste of old Florida at the inlet

The museum bills the night as a taste of Jupiter and of old Florida cooking, served outdoors at the foot of the tower that has stood at the inlet since 1860. The dress code is coastal cocktail, and the museum advises guests that stiletto heels are a poor match for the grounds.

The restaurants have not been named yet. The museum's open call for food and beverage partners runs until Nov. 1, so the lineup will be set two weeks before the event. The museum is also collecting silent auction items, including spa days, golf, fine art, dinners and hotel stays.

What the money does

All proceeds go to preserving the lighthouse and its history and to the museum's education programs. On its fundraising page the museum had raised $137,300 toward a $225,000 goal when this was written, and every sponsorship level, from $1,500 to $15,000, was sold out.

Tickets

Individual tickets are $250 and are sold through the museum's GiveSmart page, where 168 remained at last check. Tickets are non-refundable.

Climbing the lighthouse any other day

For anyone who would rather see the lighthouse by daylight, the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entry at 4 p.m., and is closed Mondays. Visitors can climb the tower and walk the waterfront grounds. From October through May, guided tours run Tuesday through Friday at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., included with admission. The site sits inside the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area, which is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

Next on the museum's calendar after the gala is the River to Reef Art Festival on the grounds March 20 and 21, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Florida artists can apply until Jan. 1.
