REVOLVE, the Los Angeles fashion retailer that built its name online, now has a store in Aventura. The 4,512-square-foot shop at Aventura Mall opened to the public on Sept. 29, and the company marked it on Friday by announcing a free public event this Sunday, Oct. 25, hosted by Dwyane Wade.
It is the company's first permanent store in Florida and its third anywhere, after its flagship at The Grove in Los Angeles and a boutique in Aspen, Colorado.
Dwyane Wade, Sunday afternoon
Wade, the former Miami Heat guard, was recently named Chief Performance Officer of REVOLVE Man and FWRD Man. On Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. he will be at the Aventura store with Li-Ning and his Way of Wade label, with a live DJ and a selection of Way of Wade footwear and apparel on the floor.
Three products are tied to the day: the WoW 12 performance basketball shoe in a Miami-inspired colorway called Vice Marble, a Wade County lifestyle sneaker sold only through REVOLVE, and the first Way of Wade x REVOLVE apparel capsule. The event is open to the public. Customers who buy Way of Wade product get the chance to meet Wade in person.
What is in the store
REVOLVE says the Aventura assortment was put together for Miami shoppers specifically, built around year-round warm weather, nightlife and an active lifestyle, from daytime clothes to occasionwear. The edit will change through the year, with selections tied to Miami's major cultural and lifestyle events.
The racks carry the company's own labels, including REVOLVE Los Angeles, Camila Coelho Collection, Eaves, SRG and L'Academie, alongside third-party designers sold on REVOLVE and its luxury sister site FWRD. The store also has dedicated REVOLVE Man and REVOLVE Beauty sections, so the full range of the website is represented under one roof.
Co-founder and co-CEO Michael Mente said Miami has long been one of the company's strongest markets, and that the store lets REVOLVE meet customers in person after years of reaching them online and through pop-up events here.
From website to storefront
REVOLVE sells to millennial and Gen Z shoppers and carries more than 1,600 emerging, established and owned brands across apparel, footwear, accessories and beauty. For most of its history it had no permanent stores. The Grove location in Los Angeles came first, the Aspen boutique followed, and Aventura is the third.
The store joins a mall with more than 300 retailers and more than 50 places to eat, including Eataly, Florida's only location of the Italian market, and the Treats Food Hall.
How to go
The store is at 19565 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 1982, inside Aventura Mall. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The Dwyane Wade event runs Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., and there is no charge to attend.
